Cringe viral appeals aside, I'm always interested in how to send clear safety signals that don't light up MAGA's enemies-radar. As a huge greying white man deep in MAGA territory, I look for wearable flair that signals I'm a safe person, in the "not gonna hurt anybody" sense AND in the "I will give you a ride to a safer place right now" sense.
Best I've found so far is super-colorful tie-die shirts. Signaling "old hippie" is false but works for this, and won't get me shot on a dark county road.
