Going out today for a friend's birthday. It's the next conurbation over and somewhere I've not been before. Also the couple I'm going out with are recently seperated so it's a weird dynamic. Also I have to get a bus and it'll be the third time in about 10 years I've got a bus. Anyway - blah blah blah. I'm running a bit late and realised I've been aiming for the wrong venue. So I phone my mate to tell her I'm an idiot and I might be a bit late. She pauses for a moment, takes it all in, then tells me it's next weekend. What an absolutely interplanetary-sized berk. All that time spent getting ready and fretting - building upto it. Now I've got to go home and do housework. Fuuuuuuuuuuuck. Balls.
