Of course #Bitcoin hashrate can fluctuate but historically it had consistently been going up. This had been possible because the security budget increased over time. Seeing the security budget decreasing is not a minor shift. I’m not saying that price can’t keep going up with a decreasing hashrate but many attribute the increase in price to the increase in hashrate. I don’t know what will be the outcomes of a decreasing security budget but that certainly a topic of importance.
