I’m a mum of a recovering DV survivor & addict who is relapsing. I saw in today’s sunrise sobbing uncontrollably, asking, “How can she be like this?” to my husband. This has been my life for a long time. She just lures me then hurts me.
I’m a mental health professional in training. I know exactly how she can be like this. But the things she says to me; they are low. They are truly evil. I try to remind myself that she’s sick. But it’s been years. This is the 8th year. I’m tired.
