I don’t want to see that on Mastodon, in the same way I wouldn’t have wanted the blogosphere to go mainstream — plus, in both cases ‘normal’ people don’t want that either. I’m definitely curious about Bluesky and how much it can scale, because ultimately they’re trying to take users from X (which I support). But do I want the stress of trying to get on all those Starter Packs to “build my following” etc…I’ll reluctantly try on Bluesky, but I don’t want that for Mastodon!
