So as a lifelong cyclist but a new race watcher, when I heard about the #TourDeFrance Femme I assumed it was basically the same event. But as always I underestimated the #mysogyny. Not only does the TDFF have fewer stages (8 vs 23), the UCI regulates stage lengths to be shorter than men's stages for, you know, "reasons".
The fact the race exists at all (it started in 2021) is real progress. But man, we still have so much further to go...
