"content": "Well, that was one 'hell' of a ride. Today I managed to finally finish playing through #DOOM on the #SNES \n\nThis was the first version of DOOM I ever played and... Well... It is impressive, I will give them that. They only omitted a handful of levels, I think 4 in total, but the Cyberdemon and Spider Mastermind fights are intact!\n\nThe game is quite wonky to be honest, movement feels bad, you can't circle strafe, the Shotgun is more like single shot rifle and the way enemies move and react is really strange. They don't react to sound, so it does mean that enemies won't come rushing around corners if they hear you kill their friends... But they will approach in a very clumsy fashion. Either slowly or super fast, OMG they are right on you.\n\nTheir pain chances also seem higher, stun locking with the chaingun is a pretty viable approach.\n\nApparently not the worst version of Classic Doom out there.
