I love cooking with kids, even if they tend to take out EVERY PLATE, BOWL, PAN, SPOON, UTENSIL, etc. in the kitchen, leaving me with this kind of mess to clear up. Worth it though.
I like to encourage their autonomous explorative freedom to conjure up things. I can do this as its not fulltime! We have fun.
Bless you parents for taking care of little people all the time! This model totally wouldn't work all the time... That's why its worth building community where we can all play a role.
