yeah i totally miss chat rooms.
im logged into one right now! every few hours someone says something, we all treat it as kind of a hide and go seek or tag thing, when people sync up theres a small exchange and then it goes quiet again for a few days :)
yeah i tried it too.. its really weird. gave it an honest go from feb 23 to about april 23.
i set up the lightning and all that, and well they paid for a pack or two of cigarettes, cumulatively. most people send you like 2-3 cents, and are like i zapped you!! im like, gee thanks.. ?
it seems like a giant virtue signal.
but the weird thing is you cant delete nostr posts, and its funded by jack dorsey the twitter creep.
aka just another fed poster boy.
