I’m pretty sure I’m the only one remotely nearby who has flowering plants. These hummingbirds have been zooming up all day with their precious little chirps 🥹.
While we have some non-native ornamentals like the crinum lily and bird of paradise in bloom, the bulk of the flowers we have open within hours of a major hurricane are the native plants like blue porterweed, swamp mallow, and fire bush. #PlantNative!
