the part I find interesting is the deindustrialization aspect. Never in the history of humanity has there been an empire that's so utterly dependent economically on its adversaries.
US simply lacks the industrial capacity to fight a war with China right now. That doesn't mean US leadership won't try to start one of course, but once they do I really can't see how they go about pursuing it.
The scary part is that US regime may resort to using nuclear weapons once it realized its defeat.
