Buddy, me and you could argue semantics about fighting asymmetrical war with conventional means & how history has demonstrated time & time again, over a long enough period, the unconventional wins.
What's happening on the northern front is more interesting. Israel may well fight a force utilizing both conventional and unconventional war. As far as I'm concerned, that's where things may get spicy if shit isn't de-escalated.
If Bibi wasn't involved, I'd reckon Israel would do some inventory take the L short term and try to take the upper road and build bridges, however, because Bibi still isn't in handcuffs. I reckon there's a chance Israel still could take the bait and we'll get war on the northern front.
Tell you one thing, this shit is the last thing the US needed on its dinner plate right now. If Langley had any sense, instead of being led around with nose-hair by Israel, would put the foot down and make abundantly clear, US at its weakest in history. US military is in crisis for several reasons for near half a decade now.
Anyway, the northern front is what I'm watching. Israel is gettin' picked off up there all week. A tank a day (sometimes more) as well as outposts being attacked.
Least on the northern front, we'll have less of these discussions.
