If you care much about security, then unfortunately there aren't serious choices beyond iPhone, Pixel and Samsung Galaxy flagships. Galaxy flagships fall short when you look closer and compare quality of implementation, which updates are shipped / when they're shipped and attack surface. Samsung does try to compete on security and mainly gets held back by the mess they make adding tons of non-security features. Other Android OEMs don't really try in the first place, they do bare minimum.
