Maybe it is the carnivore diet I have been on the last several months or maybe I'm just having a great morning.

I decided to shovel the driveway to ensure the sun had some time to melt the sleet packed beneath it.

I shovel by hand, even though I have a sizeable driveway. It's a great back workout and it's always so peaceful outside after a new snow. Maybe I'm crazy but I enjoy it.

Throughout the work, my energy level sustained itself the entire time.

I could tell my muscles were getting a workout but I didn't feel like I needed a break and I finished the shoveling with the same gusto as I started it.

I love snow.

I also love having enough control of my schedule that I have no urgency to go clear the driveway.

I can sit back, enjoy the beauty of God's creation, and have an espresso or five.
