Yep early season light. As season goes on and gets a little warmer, bacteria convert sucrose to glucose and glucose browns more when heated(malliard rxn) I get majority amber/dark at my hobby operation. 1 son and mother in law love the light stuff. Up in Vermont they often sell it for more.
