I wonder if the Mozilla/Russia saga will imprint upon people the dire situation desktop Linux is in when it comes to browsers - something I've been writing and warning about for years.
"Hey, here's your new Linux desktop, welcome to a Microsoft, Apple, and Google-free world! So, let's start with the most important app you'll use - you want a Google browser, one of the various Google browsers with skins, or the only other browser that's 80% funded by Google?"
KDE, GNOME, and the various Linux distributions are burying their head in the sand about this, and it's getting more irresponsible by the day.
