If you've never read the Bible, I'll give you a shortcut to understanding Christianity:
Skip the Old Testament. Start with the New Testament. Read the first five books. Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, and Acts.
This is roughly 10% of the words in the Bible, but all the most important lessons are found in this 10%. These five books are the core of Christianity.
I challenge you all to read these with an open mind and decide for yourself if they ring true. Seriously, try it. You've got nothing to lose and everything to gain.
