OK, tell me what to do in this situation:
Student's parent texted me and canceled last minute because student had gotten hurt (they're ok). Parent acknowledged that they hadn't given me enough notice and they'd have to pay.
I said, as I usually do for the first time if it's an injury or illness, that I'd let this one go with the understanding that if there's a last minute cancellation again, I'll charge.
Parent thanked me and said they agreed and would pay next time.
Five hours later... parent paid!
Do I thank them? Remind them we talked about it and they don't have to? Ignore it and take the money?
(it wasn't just default; this parent never pays until I request and I didn't request so they made an effort to do it)
