It occurs to me that LLMs + Dunning-Kreuger == total chaos.
Just reading a Register piece about IBM and I picture a whole class of people who don't know what they don't know thinking they can fact check/edit AI slop, managed by a non-technical professional management class who view experienced ICs as overhead (and therefore replaceable by LLMs) and are thus incapable of evaluating if their staff are technically competent.
