If you're wondering how the CoC discussion is going on the Python forums, someone (who was apparently a board member) is now implying that people enforcing the CoC are "well meaning but dramatically overzealous" and "a sanctimonious few [who] decide to protect us from ourselves". And got mad when that was flagged as inappropriate. If you at all feel like wading through that thread, I encourage you to add likes to the posts talking about the actual reality of CoC enforcement.
