I mean, if only women’s votes were counted, we’d have swept the board. There’s also some argument to be made that the states showing in red on this particular dataset is because those areas are mostly unpopulated comparatively, so may not be accurate in a visual cue about actual vote strength. I don’t have the link handy, but I watched a video with a fat scientist yesterday talking about how the data is being manipulated in lots of these maps. This one isn’t egregious as I remember, but the ones showing things like vote movement, or increase in red v blue are almost all suspect.
