"content": "It would be nice if people would opt in to calling things bots, but you can't really know for sure. Even their labelers would just be guessing. Same problem with all the teachers in schools wanting to use an AI tool to say if something is written by AI - which has a miserable success rate, and fundamentally doesn't make any sense at all. How can a sequence of words be proven to come from a human or an AI? It's the same reason why software developers hate algorithm patents - multiple devs can discover the same algorithm using the building blocks of programming languages, but the first person to patent it gets some ownership over it.",
