I also know my great uncles ran a criminal enterprise involving prohibition out of Leslie’s Cafe in Sallisaw, OK in their early 20s and late teens. This place mysteriously burned down in the late 90s, presumably because the owner got old and there were literal skeletons in the closet that they didn’t want to deal with. They briefly reopened down the street, and that location is now Maria’s, which is a great Mexican food place - and I say that as someone who has been in CA for a decade.
