Lowering temperatures won't solve stringing, and even if you do, it'll basically cause _other_, worse problems.
To fix stringing, your mental algorithm should be something like:
1. Dry your filament. No really, new does not mean dry!
2. Tune LA/PA and EM properly.
3. If on a Bowden, check your retractions aren't too high (on a DD, even more so).
Only if _all_ of these fail should you consider any other measures.
