One thing I find really grating when famous women die is that too often the photos used by the media are of when they were young and considered at their most beautiful based on societal standards.
I really noticed it with #SineadOConnor
She was 56 yet most photos used were when she was in her 20s or 30s. Women aging naturally with little to no cosmetic interventions to prolong “youthfulness” still makes too many people uncomfortable.
