Innovation in layers. It doesn't appear stagnant at all. Liquid adoption/wallet integration is growing as a way to improve security & user friendliness of lightning network wallets. People are experimenting with both Ecash & Arks. We are seeing more support for Bolt12. Silent Payments are getting more support.
