These testimonials seem like propaganda. My students have not found AI to be as helpful. I've had many conversations with them about it.
The consensus was that it could be a desperate way to make a deadline but the risk & embarrassment of getting caught made it not worth it.
We tried to get it to write proofs. I pretended to be "neutral" (Oh if you can get it to write a good proof please show me.) They grew disgusted and decided it could make them look shallow.
