Each hand-sculpted flower is based on a real daffodil planted at or spotted near my childhood home, including Sinopel, a tazzetta variety, and a hybrid of N. poeticus.
The mug is food safe, but avoid getting anything perishable in the sculpted area for ease of cleaning. Dishwashing is probably okay so long as nothing can bump it, and maybe use a lighter cycle. The sculpted flowers are delicate, especially the ones that stick out farther, so treat them carefully to avoid damaging them.
