The typical “End Times” religions have seen rising demographics/adherents in the past decade or more, including major (very elderly) leaders in Congress.
“The Rapture” is a made-up storyline, no different to Harry Potter, but many old people have been captured by it. Nothing in the Bible ever spoke about it (it was made up in the late-1800’s by a fringe sect of Christianity.)
Yet many very old people very much in charge and very unaligned with modern society are very, very convinced that all that bullshit is real. They are us, believing what we were taught was real 20 years ago but was fake-news.
The 4th Turning is turning out to be a valid template for what will happen over the next 5 years.
End-Times Zealots are real, old, in charge and very focused on sacrificing young people for their imaginary cause.
