I mean, think about it...
- There's already Hoopla and Kanopy. Imagine if they had more resources and they could just be superior to Netflix and Hulu in every way, and free.
- Imagine how much violence houseless people could avoid if libraries were open around the clock like some of my old college libraries.
- Libraries of things already exist. Imagine if they were expanded. Imagine if you could get almost any tool you could find at the hardware store, any tabletop game, any game console, laptops, phones, exercise equipment, etc.
- Imagine if free classes at the library were expanded. There are already libraries with cooking, computer software and coding classes, CPR and bleed stop, etc. What if you could go to the library and become an EMT, a phlebotomist, a welder, and HVAC tech?
- Many libraries have playgrounds. But imagine if libraries had waterparks, amusement parks, etc.
