I kind of get the idea of using inscriptions in the context of free speech - putting uncensorable info somewhere for people living under oppressive regimes to access.

But do “crypto” “investors” really think that their jpeg satoshi is actually going to appreciate in value more than Bitcoin itself?

If so, they* haven’t done their research.

Or maybe it’s about a quick flip for fiat gains. Yeah it’s gotta be that.

* I am not including the “hobbyists” in this group. If you’re tinkering and having fun, you do you. But hopefully nobody is dropping full bitcoins on a tinkering project.
