We were in a resort, two hours outside of Mendoza for nine days (partly due to my wife’s work event) and then in Buenos Aires for five days. Trip was really good. The resort was comped and very high end, but the highlight was going up into the Andes and letting my daughter play in the snow.
Buenos Aires is a beautiful city — very cosmopolitan, looks like New York in places, but without the insane prices. People are very nice. Used to have a lot of crime, but seemed safer this time.
