And credible death threats are already actionable speech in the US, that get you arrested quickly (though I'd argue that it's more the intent to commit harm that gets you arrested).
Let's do a quick litmus test-- would you consider it "verbal violence" for me to tell someone with gender dysphoria it's possible they have a mental illness?
