I would pull on my boots and hurry out to the mailbox to see if anyone had sent something...only to find that all there was in the box was a single piece of junk mail.
I need something to lift my spirits, to make me feel that I still have friends who are willing to give a lonely ghoul something to ease his hopelessness. I just want to feel better than those days when the mailman would speed by my mailbox and not even bother to slow down.
I want to feel worthy of a little bit of help.
