Jordan Peterson has cited research that pretty much directly confirms my “optimal /r/femaledatingstrategy” hypothesis.
It has to do with jawlines and cycles. Peak fertility = hunter genes are attractive; otherwise, provider genes are attractive. Peterson thinks that birth controls traps women in the “provider is attractive” state, they marry a beta, then they divorce once they go off birth control.
