This is my concern, as well.
I'm not interested in protecting open access to porn sites, but if it's a slippery slope, I'd rather just say that parents are responsible for restricting kids' Internet access. We can (try to) make the Internet kid-friendly, or we can say the Internet just isn't for kids, and I think there are multiple benefits to the latter approach.
