The only good thing about the ACLU fighting this is that if they can get mandatory age verification for porn, they can try to extend it to political websites too. Without anonymity, a lot of people won't visit certain radical websites.
I'm not surprised the ACLU is fighting for more public access to porn. That's pretty much all they've done since their inception.
