Makes sense that they would want to maintain the revenue stream to keep up with their expenses, but I would want to see those expenses laid out before agreeing to a price that high. According to the news, the number of runners is 50,000, which means a $15 cost per runner. Given that the bridge brings in around 1.6 million per day in vehicle tolls, that might be considered reasonable.
