Ok, I see. Tadge is solving a slightly different problem but the solution is the same.
Tadge: In a world where revealing a pubkey from a P2PKH UTXO creates an opportunity to trivially compute a valid privkey, so we pin the transaction by announcing its hash some blocks earlier.
Me: In a world where QC becomes increasingly likely to compute valid privkeys for already exposed pubkeys we could pin transactions preemptively by committing to their hashes as soon as we want - even before a fork.
