I don’t understand why CrowdStrike is releasing drivers in the first place.
What is C-00000291*.sys even supposed to do? And why have tons of people set up their computers to install .sys files from a cybersecurity company in the first place?
Maybe it’s my background, but like I kind of don’t understand why/how a non-OS vendor company can (or thinks they can) improve the security of another company’s OS.
This whole situation is just baffling to me
