Struggling finding connections with other women, unfortunately. I love this space, so thankful for it, and would like to build community here and elsewhere. I just don't really know where to go to have conversations and spend time with other women. I live in eastern Kentucky, and most of my friends are married with children. I've chosen to remain single (I would love to go full separatist) and am childless, and it often feels like friendship takes a backseat when women build families. My "politics" are another issue - not many open radical feminists in eastern Kentucky that I can find, and the friends I made in college are pretty libfem-y. I would say my only close friends are hours and miles and miles away, and there is a serious brain drain here. My region like so many others is suffering and women I meet are more focused on subsistence than anything else. I wanna get active in my community, but I'd also just like women who are more aligned with me to talk to. Have any of you found any luck meeting women for friendship on apps like Bumble? I've applied for an access code to OvarIt, but I'm stumped as where to make meaningful connections. I tried Discord but I'm 36 and those chats trend pretty young...
