In stories with the supernatural it's often tempting to introduce a theory of magic (eg. magical or cursed items contain "energy" -- it can be collected or drained etc.)
Writers for the SCP universe may introduce such theories, but they must be aware of the implications of coherent theories of magic for the foundation.
Magic with consistent comprehensible rules is science. And science isn't a problem for the Foundation.
