Normally students struggle with base conversion (things like hex and base 3...) but they had NO PROBLEM with sexegesimal. I just said "It's like time. You know how time goes, you get to 59... what's next?
Very natural. Even doing the conversion... because it's just multiplying out the number of seconds.
