Yes I think people in tech now associate "decentralized" and "cryptography" with "web3" and "crypto" unfortunately and it's quite a strong association.
A lot of that discussion is actually about tribal signalling where people want to make sure you're on the right team. They want to put you in the bucket "cryptobro" or "not cryptobro".
Nostr seems to be robust to people dismissing Nostr. Their opinions are not relevant to it's survival. It's a reliable and open platform to build fun things on and I think that's what matters. Thanks for putting it out into the world! 🙏
