I am no expert. Nor have I ever claimed I have a superior model that can work better.
But at this stage - privatizing works better than what Canada's health care system as it currently stands given the significant drawbacks in today's reality.
The extent to which it should be done is of course debatable and I am no expert in deciding on it.
