2/3 Status: I have set up a channel called "admin" with the same key in the "remote note" admin channel. I have the same "admin" channel with same key set up in several "local nodes" that I may wish to use to change the settings of the "remote node" using the mesh. I did this using the QR code representing the channels of the remote node and scanned it in the Android app of the local nodes. All the nodes have the same set of channels, and these include one called "admin". I hope this is clear.
