No, not like torrents.

Torrents enable people to save redundant copies of something and enable anyone to download from all redundant copies on the network at once. What fiatjaf wants is a way for a group of people to collectively pay for a single archive or backup of something that they can all access. I don't have an answer except that it isn't torrents and IPFS sucks. The only thing I can think of is, if you're certain many people would be interested in keeping it indefinitely, pay to store it and charge people for access. If you're right they'll pay you.
