I don't understand enough of electricity to understand how you can make a NOT gate, because clearly you can't put power in and get no power out, or put no power in and get power out. I have a vague idea that it's some high/low thing instead.
But waves... What the fuck is a wave, really. How does it really work? Radio waves, audio waves, wifi waves, whatever.
Presumably it does not travel in a single direction, but how can it oscillate in that case? It can't be physical position that's being measured there.
