there's specifically this kind of mythical guy that i love who is like mostly normal but unnecessarily has something weird or cool about them. mythical creatures usually have some origin story or reason for existing, but there is this other genre of 'kinda weird but otherwise normal guys' of whom the headless men are exemplary who i am obsessed with. like why did people make these guys up
