Yes, I used my 4a 5G for a year with stock android, and it started feeling sluggish within *one year*.
With degoogled ROMs, I could've used that Pixel for five years at least (if only google provided security updates that long).
I'm considering getting another pixel and trying Graphene, or getting a phone from Murena and trying /e/OS
